I am Sunil Sarolkar, an Assistant Vice President at Deutsche Bank in Pune, India, with 15 years of experience in enterprise software engineering and architecture and 5 years of active contributions in AI/ML and Generative AI projects. My core expertise lies in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms, while my AI/ML focus includes predictive maintenance, generative AI automation, structured data transformation, and computer vision models.

Notable AI/ML contributions:

Built an Indian Sign Language Translator using Pose Estimation + Transformers (Keras, PyTorch), hosted on Hugging Face.

Contributed in AIML Community of practice team for using Generative AI within bank business users.

Developed a LangChain + Hugging Face solution for generative AI-based JUnit test case automation.

Created Structform, an open-source Transformer-based data transformation engine with 99% accuracy.

Previously, I have contributed to major enterprise projects such as the Feed and Adjustment Workstation at Deutsche Bank, the Global Securities Infrastructure (GSI) initiative at Cognizant, and the award-winning Barracuda trading platform at HSBC.

I hold a PG Certification in Computational Data Science from IISc Bangalore, an Associate Cloud Engineer Certification, a Diploma in Advanced Computing (DAC), and a B.E. in Electronics.
